An ancient art form takes on new significance in this striking wall hanging. Traditionally painted on much walls, villagers in India adapt the time-honored style of Mandana folk art to create this appliqued fabric panel. The entire artwork is done by using a single piece of fabric using small hand stitches.

This Fair Trade product is handmade by artisans in the north western regions of India. Income generated by this product helps develop the artisan communities. In addition, most artisans are women, and this product empowers them with sustainable employment and helps them become socio-economically independent.
