This is a Fair Trade and environmentally friendly journal that is "100% Tree-Fee". The paper is made from recycled cotton waste that is turned into a pulp. The acid-free paper has a rich texture, is great for writing, drawing and painting. The leather is embellished with hand embossing and an elastic band secures the flap. As livestock is greatly respected in Rajasthan, India, the leather is from animals who have passed away naturally. This is known as Cruelty Free.

Income generated by this journal supports numerous artisans and their families as this is a drought prone area that can not be relied upon for the crops. Thank you for helping them develop basic medical and education needs.
